Shetland Amenity Trust Office enlarge Shetland Amenity Trust Office Shetland Amenity Trust - the organisation with a remit to celebrate and champion Shetland's natural and cultural heritage - has recently launched a new website.

The site, www.shetlandamenity.org includes a full overview of the vast range of services provided by the Trust throughout Sheltand, from archaeological assessments to environmental services.  Details of individual projects undertaken by the Architectural Heritage team illustrate the work the Trust does to preserve ancient and historial buildings and monuments.

The new site also includes interactive services to help members of the public. For example, online forms are now available to arrange the collection of end of life vehicles, and agricultural scrap.  The Biological Records Centre pages include online recording forms for sightings of individual species.  A news page is regularly updated with details of projects, progress and other useful information, and an events page includes details of any activities planned by individual departments.

A mailing list sign up form is available for the Trust generally, or for specific subjects such as the Unkans newsletter, or the Dunna Chuck Bruck Campaign.  Visit the website to sign up and receive regular email updates.
